More on Martin Shaw in Even Break
After failing miserably to find anything related to 'Even Break' in response to
merentha13 's post on 21st June 2015, and unable to trace Hugh Janes, I became deeply suspicious and wanted some corroboration.
It seems I was utterly and completely wrong. I've managed to contact Hugh Janes and I received this e-mail today:

Martin played the small part of a 'Shifty Drunk' in the short film Even Break in 1987.
The 30-minute comedy had limited showings and may only now be available on video. It was a gentle parody of 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'. Two hopeless snooker-playing misfits decide to rob a bookies and everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Martin looks suspicious to the bookie and she calls the police. By the time they arrive Martin has gone but 'Butch' and 'Sundance' arrive and ....
