Hi everyone
As it is the start of a new year, well just about, we thought it would be a good time to put up a quick reminder about the posting requirements when posting stories here at Tea and Swiss Roll……….and we can’t wait to read everything you all come up with this year.
The main requirement is that all stories must have a story header, and this header must include the following fields:
Title:
Author:
Pros-Lib / Circuit Archive: Yes/No
Pairing and / or characters:
Rating: Everyone / Teen / Adult (choose one)
Word count:
Warnings: (this can be deleted if not needed)
You can of course add in other fields, but these are the essential ones that have to be in the header for every story.
If you are unsure about which of the three ratings to pick, that is 'everyone, teen, or adult', then there are explanations of these on our profile page.
When thinking about warnings you must warn for BDSM, Major character death, Rape/Non-con, or Incest. Alternatively if your story needs one of these four warnings, but you do not want to spoil readers for any plot points, you may choose to put "No warning/s given" in the warnings field instead so that anyone requiring them knows that there may be potentially warning-worthy material in the story,
And just a couple more connected posting notes as well; firstly - if your story is over the length of a drabble i.e. 100 words, it must be behind a LJ-cut or a fake LJ-cut. And second - the comm has lots of tags that you can use to make your stories more findable for readers, but if you do not see a tag that meets your needs just let the mods know and we will create a new one for you.
These details, info about other requirements, guidance, notes, and a text window where you can grab the code for the header, can always be found on the
Tea and Swiss Roll profile page.
Finally we love that you post your stories with us and are looking forward to another year of wonderful Pros fic (and other posts of course :D) here at TSR, but in order to help us tag the stories and to help readers avoid potentially distressing experiences, we do ask that everyone sticks to our posting guidelines when sharing stories.
Therefore any story posted from now on that does not have the correct header will receive a friendly reminder comment from the mod squad asking for the info to be amended.
As always, if you have a question about any of this or want to ask us anything else, just send one of us a PM or ask us in the comments to this post.
Thank you for your time :)
