Location: Southern Texas
Fandoms: X-men First Class, Sin City, Horatio Hornblower, Buffy and Angel, and lastly and biggest (up until X-men ate my brain) King Arthur (2004 movie and legend). I read X-men comics (and many others) for about ten years, and got my start in "fandom" there I guess. ;)
Cowboys or Aliens?: Hrm. If the Alien looked like Daniel Craig, then Aliens. ;)
If I had a superpower, it would be: Either shapeshifting or the power to be able to say "no" once in a while. *facepalm*
A quote I like: Mos Eisley space port. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.
I ♥ ?: Well, newly Michael Fassbender, but I love love love all Arthurian legend and coffee and reading and writing and yoga and cats and red hair and vampires and slash.
Anything else?: Thank you so much for being a place that's calm and where I can flail with all my newbie glory about things fandom and everything else. I so appreciate the warmth I've found from strangers. You guys rock.

Geoffrey! How fantastic. I love the "magical" side of Arthur, but I really like the history possibility too. Fantastic. I hope your essay goes well, honey.

Most of the research I've been doing is into the history of the legends rather than the historical aspects of the stories but anyway, quibble, I'm having fun. Thanks lovely ♥

I love the history. I also adore the silly movie from 2004, regardless of how anachronistic it is. That was my most recent addiction to fandom and I still write for it.
