Well, the gym's going to be cold for a while. And it seems I'll have to go back on my offers of hot water for now. The tea I was promised for all this had better be of exceptional quality.
Perhaps it's not my place to say, but if I may venture my humble opinion . . . perhaps the auditorium would not be too great a loss for the medical community to bear if, instead of clearing IT out, other rooms were cleared out for our doctors' use? After all, closed quarters are better for keeping sickness contained . . . and the acoustics in the auditorium are exceptionally good.
