(no subject)
No one from my friends page has posted in awhile, so I feel it necessary to throw something out there. Jon and I have moved into our wonderful house (YEA!!!) and are slowly getting things into place. I have amazing friends who helped move and are helping unpack, and Leann has assembled furniture...it's wonderful. The couch and loveseat are coming tomorrow! I still want a bigger kitchen, but since we certainly don't have money (or the property, really) to expand the kitchen out, we'll have to learn to live and make do. We are making some changes by adding some small cabinets and a hood for the stove, which all in all aren't horribly expensive, and the hood was a gift from Jon's parents (as was a lawn mower, which FINALLY got used!). The project list is long, but let me reiterate that the house in great shape and doesn't NEED repairs or updates. So when I talked about projects, most of these won't even get done in the next year. Which is good, because taking care of one's house feels...good. And productive. The freedom to make decisions about what we want is fabulous, and we're taking advantage of that!
The game tonight is a huge one, and as Pittsburgh announcers have told us, Game 7 has no memory. Not with everything on the line. I have to work til 7 up in Gibsonia, and will probably need to stay a little late, but I should catch most of it, for better or worse.
Also, on the off chance anyone reading this doesn't already have 50+ coffee mugs, we're looking to trim down our collection, so let me know if you have a good home for them. And Stickers has not managed to get stuck again, so thankfully we're not still pulling our house apart for his safety and wellbeing.
