Actress Aoi Miyazaki and older brother / actor Masaru Miyazakii travel to India in "Tarinai Peace". The siblings spent a week there in 2005, gaining firsthand insight into the problems of poverty. They visited slums and spoke with locals and representatives of NGOs and charities.
Aoi Miyazaki told the Japan Times, "It's painful to think that the kids from the slums, or the kids who are discriminated against - they might fall in love with someone, but no matter how much they love them, they can never go out with them."

Following up on their 2006 Photo Book, "Tarinai Peace", Aoi Miyazaki and older brother Masaru Miyazaki travel to Denmark and Finland. The siblings investigate the effects of global warming.
Aoi Miyazaki told the Japan Times, ""Up until then, the fishermen in Greenland had to go out by dogsled to work, but now they can go by boat, because the ice is melting," she says. "So they are now able to catch many more fish and they're like, 'We're lucky!' But in the Maldives, the people are saying, 'Save us! Save us!' because their islands are about to disappear under water. The two groups of fishermen are so far apart, but they're so connected."
