Things to do, places to limp...

I have no idea how, but while waiting for the traffic lights to change to green I somehow strained a muscle in my left leg. And all I did was standing around, like I normally do, when waiting at the traffic lights. That happened on Friday last week. On Sunday I could already walk again at a semi-brisk pace, but yesterday I overdid it and my leg hurts again.
I had to bring back some books to the library, asked mom to give me a lift to town, though it's only 20 minutes to walk, and well. From there I made a trip to the yarn store, went on to the library, climbed all the stairs up to the third floor but have been wise enough to take the elevator for going down. Going up the stairs is easier on my leg then going down.
And the stairs in the library are wide and steep, not good for when one suddenly needs to find a hold, either on the wall or on the banister.
From the library I went home, and by the end of the day my leg was hart and hurting.

Steffi is still not speaking with me and avoiding me whereever possible. This weekend she asked us girls to read over the English translation of a pattern she designed. And well, the translation seemed to be very German. Plenty of empty words. Waltraut and I pointed out some errors.
And didn't get one single "thank you" for it.
No, I don't understand it, I don't understand her, but I'm still smarting a bit over it.

The FAQ for our Sternchen group went online last week, and since then things changed, so I have to proof read it again and replance broken links  with working ones.
My co-mod made a pretty button for the participants of our on-coming CKAL and wrote the opening post. All that can be summarised with a "well done, Anja".

My birthday is coming up, it's on Saturday and I'm busily working on a pair of socks which I want to wear on that day.

I'm currently wearing my Hiddensee-socks, the first pair I ever made for myself, (the second pair I ever knitted at all!), and I love the warm and cosy feeling on my feet.

Have I forgotten something? I hope not.
Ah! Last evening, in the dark, I saw a weasel or ferret crossing the street. It was too fast and too dark to recognize it properly.
