Send off the contract for adopting a sheep in the last days of March. First payment was made on April 15, as it was stated in the contract.
Today it's May 6 and still no papers in the letterbox. Last week I send off a mail, asking whether they recieved the money. Yes they did, but she couldn't work on the papers as the monitor of her computer stopped working, an issue that took some days to solve.
I'm all for giving people the time they need, but honestly, if you are getting paid and haven't held up your deal of the contract yet, wouldn't it be appropriate to send either an email or a letter, explaining and asking for a bit of patience?
Grandma is home again, aunt apparently loves the butterflies I made for grandma. I invested the money I got for easter in a knitting kit for a purse. It's the infamous Bile bag, made in double knitting technic. I read it up, I watched videos, but it's still a bit over my head. So I put it away again.
The yarn for "To Eyre" arrived, pretty dark brown yarn spun from Bergschaf fleece. I started on the shawl, but just couldn't love the fabric, far too stiff, despite the 5,5mm needles.
Ribbed back, will try the 6mm needles now.
Haven't heard from Jeff for a while, I hope he's ok.
And apparently he is. I send him a mail yesterday, but just checked his status. Last loggin: Yesterday.
Oh well.
