She'd said for Owen to be back at the flat in half an hour. That gave Katie just enough time to clean up the flat a bit, shove the laundry out of the way into the closet, clean up the en-suite (Owen's suggestion of the bath wasn't a bad one--best be prepared, she thought to herself!) and set up candles in various places around the flat (safely, mind!) to set the mood.
She changed into a pink floral dress, quickly dashed on a little lipstick and pinned her hair up, just in time to hear Owen fit his key in the lock.
