dreams and メルティ

Oct 23, 2010 08:50

So, last night I dreamed that I killed at least two people in my home while my family was away, and threw their bloody skulls into the woods behind my house. I knew they would probably be found there, but I didn't want to touch them anymore. And one of them fell into a little pond ( Read more... )

I have no idea what became of the rest of the bodies. All I remember having in the woods were the skulls, de-faced and covered in blood. I guess I left the bodies in the house, but I must have done something to hide them.

The thing I'm really unclear on is the fact that they're apparently in a dream... that continues even after Wallachia is dead. What's up with that? It doesn't seem to make any sense, but Shiki says everything will return to how it was when they wake up. ???

Reminds me of a movie. I forgot the title but the killer dumped the skulls and bodies separately.
On another note, maybe you had dinner witht he bodies. Lio-style.

Well, one theory is that the Shiki-chan and Arc are just products of the Blood Liar MP, like how Kouma was just an image of the real Kouma, not really the real thing but at the same thing the real thing as well.
Well, I can't say much in the matter though, maybe you should read the MB manga, might uncover some facts about this. Or just learn Jap at a faster rate. :P

*vomits* Oh, I do hope not.

No, it's not clear from the translation, but Archetype Earth is the one who brought Shiki-chan into the Melty Blood-verse from the Kara no Kyoukai-verse. Or so it says on TVTropes anyway.

AE's terribly broken in the game, apparently. I tried fighting her and she's basically impossible to touch.

Hmm... I don't understand. How'd she made her come to Misaki???

I'd play and try to figure out how to strategize against her but I'm no good with the Controller. Keyboards are a lot better for me in games like that. :) Can't even make the combos that I'd be able to do with a keyboard.

Still, Seeing how AE's attacks are, I'd say you should avoid, instead of defend. Jump twice or high jump to her, air hit her with C, then pummel her with ground combos. Depending on which style of Shiki you're using, I'd say that you'd have not much of a problem with AE as long as the timings right.

It's not that she made her come to Misaki, I guess, as that she pulled her into an alternate reality where Tsukihime and the rest takes place. Rakkyo canonically takes place in an AU from Tsukihime. And she used her super vampire bitch powers to do it. I don't know anything beyond that. :p

I don't mean that I don't know how to beat Archetype Earth, so much as that it's nearly impossible to do so due to the character's being massively overpowered. TVTropes and another Wiki I came across describe her as being insanely broken, and banned from arcade play. So if I understand that right, it's not just me that has problems with her. -_-

But if you get a chance, try playing her yourself and tell me what you think. If you can beat her with no problem I'll acknowledge that I'm just doing it wrong. :p

I don't understand that Alternate reality part. As far as I know, all of the NAsuverse things happen in one timeline. Though it would probably make sense that if our SHiki-chan is the same age as the Shiki-chan in the movies, then maybe AE brought her from the past....
Oh well, here's to hoping it gets tanslated sooner or later.

Oh, I'll try alright. RIght when hols kick in which should be after 8th November. Just to be fair, what difficulty are you playing???

Woah, now I'm getting confused. I just read that Someone Who Knows said that Rakkyo and Tsuki are in alternate universes from each other. It may not be true, in which case perhaps Actress Again does take place in some kind of dream-dimension and that's where AE pulled Shiki to.

I'm playing on low difficulty... not the lowest, but the second lowest. It's the only way I can beat anyone. -_-

=_= Well, whatever the case, At least the Aozakis still hate each other in both stories... or at least Touko hates Aoko. Aoko just plays around.

Low it is then...
You should buy an upgrade might want to exercise your fingers. eye to hand coordination stuff. And reflex. It should help.

I hate Aoko too. Sticky-fingered bitch!

I was kinda hoping that just playing would improve my skill, but I've expended a lot of my energy on trying to figure out why Last Arcs don't work anymore. >_<;;

Sticky-fingered??? Fingers covered in honey, perhaps???

Last Arcs??? I was under the impression that it was just for show, no one really uses it, except by accident.

I mean she steals stuff. XD

If there are people out there who use Last Arcs by accident, I want them murdered horribly and their heads brought to me on silver platters.

Ah, I had the image of her licking her fingers covered in honey with a honey pot in her other arm.

*Beheads himself, puts his head on a silver platter, mails it to H*
Well, surprisingly it happened to me twice. Both while using Sion TATARI. This in in MBAC, and partly because I was on the verge of defeat and my index finger went... haywired a bit.

But seriously, MB isn't like King of Fighter or Art of Fighting where you can use counter moves since they have a 1 second wait period, not a nanosecond wait period like in MB.
it's better to just use Blood Heat for the powered up special attack or for life recovery.
