To move along from where we've been, I'll sing a song for you again.

Have been re-reading Busman's Honeymoon. It's been a while since I read these books, but it's always a pleasure to come back to them. And a good love story is a real treasure when you find one. I think I can count the ones I've found on the fingers of one hand. Maybe even half a hand.

I can't seem to write them myself. I know what makes a good love story, more or less, but there's definitely some kind of roadblock when it comes to my characters and love. They have a problem with it. They are very bad at it. The lack of good love stories on the market isn't a hole I'm capable of filling. Which is okay, I guess, because I have other goals for my stories anyway.

I've drunk a fair amount tonight, but I feel fine, which I think either means that my tolerance is increasing, or that I'm actually really drunk. Either way, I should probably sleep.
