The next time you go to donate something to a food/non-perishable goods drive, take a minute to think about what you're donating.
Is the item of the same quality that you would provide or offer your own family? Or is it the cheapest thing you could find?
I understand the desire to buy in larger quantities, too. And it often seems like the best way to do this is by buying cheap items, and buying a lot of them.
But, chances are that you don't want to wipe your ass with sandpaper, so why would anyone else?
