Story: Conversations with Dead People

Okay, so it's just a bit dirtier than that, but really, I think all of you are taking that as read at this point, yes? Yes.

This is a "five things" story with a rather specific purview. Mary took a handful of panels from various comics and wrote the Jason stories they suggested to her. The title works brilliantly on a number of levels, of course, especially those meta ones -- there's a lot to be said on the nature of "Jason Todd, the Dead Robin," and what it's meant to both the characters and the universe as a whole.

For that matter, there are all sorts of ways to die, aren't there?

I don't want to spoil any of the stories. I'll just say that there's something here for just about everyone, because Mary is one *fuck* of a geek -- when reading, you should pay attention to *where* the panels come from, because they say rather a lot about the stories being told, and the reasons Mary had, perhaps, for telling them the way she did.

These pictures are worth every last word Mary gives them. And these stories? Are worth *papers*.
