hurricanes
and they try and tell us that global warming isnt happening. global temperatures and, more relevantly, the gulf's temperature has been rising steadily for years. two category 5 storms in the matter of a month (even though katrina got downgraded it was still a cat. 5 for a day or so). only three cat 5s have hit land in the US in the last 100 years! its only going to get worse unless we start doing something. we cant stop hurricanes but we can stop helping them become so strong, cant we? now a cat 5 hurricane with 165mph winds that still has two days to get stronger over the warm gulf is headed towards mr. bush's beloved adopted home state. i wonder if he has made the obvious connections.
