i had the best intention of waking up at 5:30 and i even set my alarm for 5:30...PM. luckily i woke up at 6:30 anyways. unfortunately that put me in a rushed mood and smack dab in the middle of morning commute austin traffic!!!
which reminds me...
people are against mass transit etc around here. i wonder why? those who oppose cite the loss of their personal space that is their car, they want to commute privately i guess. to that person i ask if they could explain why nearly EVERY car on the way to austin thismorning was carrying one person each, and 75% of those were on cell phones!
so on the way to the testing center i got blocked in by some jerk in a suburban (what a suprise, huh?) and had to find an alternate route. my alternate route involved me jumping a curb and hitting a metal thingy because a turn was unmarked and i saw it at the last minute. i turned the weel for a 45 degree turn, my car only wanted to do about 30 degrees or so. i backed up and resumed my drive like nothing happened at all.
got to the testing center fine, did my GRE. i dont want to talk about it...i did OK as far as total scores goes but i know i couldve easily scored 2-300 points higher, especially on the verbal part.
after the GRE i treated myself to a huge beefy burger at players, then treated myself to a $40 spending spree at waterloo. funny, i went there looking for one CD and found 3 i wanted. ive listened to the "other" two and not the one i went there for.
