If you live in an apartment complex and own a dog, I hate you. You are an awful person who, in a fascinating combination of selfishness and boredom, convinced yourself that another living creature is the answer to your problem. You take on an animal which you do not have the room for. Dogs are meant to live outside (small dogs are really just imbred with rats, so they do not count) and you do not have a yard. What you have and probably mistakenly think is a yard, is a common area of grass, probably actually meant for decoration. You however use it as a place for your dog's refuse so that other people can drive by on their way through the parking lot and see poop instead of grass. Even more fascinating is that you keep an animal locked in a room all day and let it out for about an hour a day. Get over yourself; that sucks for the dog. Don't own a dog until you get a house or actually own an apartment (as well as the grass around it) and are cool with letting it destroy your own property with its urine and feces. For the record, I love dogs. But I'm a logical person so I won't get one until I OWN A HOUSE WITH A YARD. Crazy idea, I know.
Crazy side story. While picking up my mail at the common mailbox station today, I stepped in dog crap. Someone actually walked their dog and let it poop at the mailbox. I am actually going to kill that person.
