I guess I'm old.
My sister, brother in law and I went to Jax beach today and it was exactly what I needed. I hadn't seen Laura and Dan since the wedding a few months ago, so it was cool to be with family again. Some other people I used to know from church in Gainesville also came up for something so we met with them. I've decided that I'm gonna start riding my bike around the beach (not the sand) some mornings when I have time.
While I was skimboarding, a little kid ran up and asked me how I did it. I told him that you just throw it down and go and that he could learn quickly. Then he told me he was 9 and asked me how old I was. I told him 22 and he said "WOOOOOOOOWW!!!" It was ridiculously cute, but made me feel old at the same time. When we left, I saw him trying to skimboard on his boogie board.
