I wanted to pack tonight, but the familiar Mohawk Uniform shirt, caught my attention, and I just stopped for a second. I looked some pictures I have online and on my computer, and the flood gates just started to fill up. I know you are asking yourself, why are you so sad about leaving? Well I will tell you. I started at Mohawk 4 years ago, as a brand new EMT, little ems experience. I have seen people come and go, but I can't nor won't forget the people who I have known the longest. Yes, we have all done our fire department bashing, but in all honesty, Schenectady Fire has a lot of great people, and they were like my friends. However, the people at Mohawk, are my family. I have spent the past 4 years there, working god insanily hours, and working every major holiday. There is a lot of people who I could list from both the 'hawk, and the fd, that I wish I could say goodbye to in the next couple of days, before I leave. I am not going to alienate myself from the hawk, just get away, and grow as a person. Now that I think of it, I do have a list of people I am going to Miss:
