The Punk Voter show was kickass. Authority Zero sucked really bad, but Alkaline Trio and NOFX made up for it. NOFX was amazing live, especially for being drunk and whatnot. Jello Biafra's speech was cool, lots of good points and shit. The Rec Center at DAvis had lots of floor space, but only half of it was being used, and all the merch and shit was on the floor. My bro and i didn't know that "General Admission" means floor or seats up 15 feet. That shit was messed up. So, after Authority Zero was done sucking ass, we got with a few people and rushed the pit. Oh, and did I mention it was down a couple flights of stairs? Haha, yeah. It was pretty fun though. The lady checkin for wristbands was all, "Wristbands? Hey... Hey!" And that was that. we sprinted into the crowd and Blaine didn't show up till a few minutes later. Which was OK since that bastard already had a wristband. Before Alk3 went on, there was a little part of a political documentary with all the f*ed up shite goin on in "the home of the brave." Then Akaline trio went on and rocked. MAtt Skibba had a pimp ass red suit on which was cool, and in one song they broke into White Wedding, which is always cool. Then came Jello. It was smart to put him on in between Alk3 and NOFX, because people were actually there. He was a good speaker, very enthusiastic. some people forgot that they came to a political show though, cause they started to yell shit like "April Fools, we get it! NOFX!" Either they forgot, or they were too high. This butch chick behind me was blazing and smelled like shit, and was all ":Shut the Fuck up, Fuckin posers man, fuckin posers..." in the most manly voice ive ever heard. Then i lost my balance for a little while and mustv'e gotten in her way of Jello cause she pushed me aside. I think maybe she had a crush on him. Nasty. Then NOFX came on. Fat Mike walked out with some alcohol in his hand while some dudes set up a couch. He threw out his back, so he played lying on his back on the coach. It was funny and awesome cause he still played like a champ. NOFX kicked ass, and the pit was pretty damn big. I was quite sore after. They played a lot of variety from albums and shit, which was cool and surprising. This chick bled on my shirt, that was nasty. Overall, the show was quite pleasing and was quite possibly the best show I've been to yet. It was good to see NOFX before one of the members died of whatever. Haha. Ok. Yesterday was hella awesome! I was gonna hang out with Mike and Brian with Joe and Blaine and BJ, but Joe ended up calling me at nine already at some gokart place so it was too late for me to come, i guess the same thing for BJ too. So that was pretty cool to stay home and stuff while Joe, Blaine and Mike and Brian hung out for hours. That's really awesome. I can't wait for a couple of days of pain then Colorado. that'll be cool. I hope i get my Pennywise ticket soon. Maybe my bro wants to go. And BJ. I'll inquire. I just bought the Streetlight Manifesto CD now that I have some money, it rocks my world. I also got this book called like the "Encyclopedia of Crime" which is cool, it's got profiles and life storries of mobsters and even pirates and other types of criminals. PRetty G-money indeed.
