ILU TOO! But I must admit, I am supremely jealous of you because you get to be attached to Tom Hardy's face 24/7.

*rolls around flailing*

Mine too, and it's like, nobody I know's ever read or is all like, 'meh'.

I'm kind of...skittish about the movie though.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the movie. There seems to be a lot of problems and delays and stuff.

I've loved zombies since I was a little kid and my heart just soared~ when they suddenly became popular in the early 2000's. You didn't have to search far and wide for a zombie movie or book anymore. But then it was like...there were so many terrible zombie books, you really had to pick and choose. But World War Z is definitely one of the best, instant classic.

Yeah, and on top of that, I'd hate to see them just put in a bunch of big-name actors without any commitment to the real story. Like, I don't know how to say this, but when they just get a bunch of people together and instead of portraying it as the emotional and political drama it is, by just tossing in a bunch of action with little plot.

Like what they did to Transformers. And I agree with you about the books--that's what happened to vampires. Twilight got popular and now all of a sudden every single vampire story is about emo, whiny men and co-depended girls who go to high school and hybrids, totally taking away from the genre. (endrant)

Ugh, don't get me started on vampires. The vampire stories I like are the ones where they're vicious monsters (like 30 Days of Night), so I can't deal with this emo sparkly bullshit.

Exactly. When I see vampires, I want bleeding dammit! And if we're gonna get into angsty with it, then I'd say go the Let The Right One In route. Have you read that one? It's really good.

I haven't read the book yet, but I love the movie. I was thinking about reading the book, but I don't know if it would have the same impact now. Have you read The Passage by Justin Cronin? My dad has that book so I'll probably read it at some point.

I haven't seen the movie yet(either versions) but they left a lot of stuff out of it, which made me skeptical to see it.

I recently came across The Passage, when I was in the mood for 'gothic horror' but unforunately, I never got around to buying/reading it. I've fallen behind in my books, because I'm constantly broke(it's really hard to get a job these days, especially when you're under eighteen and I'm going to be starting college in the next month and--ok I'm rambling now). Crap, now I've totally lost track of other book suggestions...damn attention span.

Goddamn, I can't believe I forgot about Catwoman's fake freakout in the bar, that was the best. I AM A HELPLESS WOMAN, I NEED TO BE SAVED, I COULD NOT POSSIBLY HAVE CAUSED THIS.

Going to friend you now, because you obviously have good taste. ;)
