Holidays, ho
In approximately 6 hours, I won't be posting from work until January 2nd. One of the sweetest perks of this organization is that they grant Christmas breaks that line up with the Department of Education's. We get paid for it, too. I've got a proposal to submit, thank you letters to write, newsletter articles to write, and an office to clean (lolnothappening).
Tomorrow, off to the parents to introduce my darling girlfriend, eat candy, and torment a hate cat. Couch of Doom and showing her around my town will probably be in the cards somewhere.
The rest of this week? Fuck all if I know. I intend to sleep (a lot), see my girl (as much as she'll let me), relax, watch movies, possibly play a computer game that involves the death of HORDES of zombies (gotta love my parents; they know my style), and whatever else strikes my fancy. Resume updating and mass mailings will be happening. So will shenanigans on New Year's Eve.
I may or may not post until I return to the office, which sticks my ass in a chair and doesn't let go. If I don't, happy holidays (even to the lurkers... I STILL SEE YOU OUT THERE), pleasant returns, and all that. If you find gremlins in the egg nog, hope they're waterproof. Else, you might have a gremlin farm 'afore long.
