You can now put library books directly on a Kindle.
I've tested this out and it works for the New York Public Library and the Queens Library. No more jiggery-pokery with having to use Overdrive software as an intermediary to my iPad, and it's super nice to just plunk library books right on the 1st generation Kindle.
