THE DA VINCI CODE?
V. Disappointing. I was rockin' along, all gogogogogo, and then the darn thing hits a brick wall at the end. Bleah. Bleah I say!
And now I'm reading TWILIGHT, and why? Because it was near the top of the list of the New York Public Library's most popular ebooks in Mobipocket format. What I have learned from this book is that a) I have the process of getting Mobipocket-formatted ebooks from the library down cold, and b) it's very difficult to identify in any way with a character who seems to spend every page mentioning how klutzy she is. I dunno. It's like some weird cross between INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE and SHEILA LEVINE IS DEAD AND LIVING IN NEW YORK. The movie version in my head stars Robert Pattinson and Julie Kavner.
