Summary:Wyatt decides to take a look at the mysterious building. Anyone care to join or stop him?

"You're pretty far from the village to be out here on your own," Duo said watching Wyatt walk in as he stood leaning against a nearby tree. Not that he wasn't, either, really, of course. But he had his dog with him, at least. Said golden retreiver was at his side, tail wagging.

Wyatt looked over at Duo in surprise. "Duo!" He said in surprise, obviously not expecting anyone else here really.

"I, uh, was just exploring..."

[duo02shinigami]

"You should be careful on your own," Duo said. "There're wolves and polar bears around here." As odd as 'polar bears' might have sounded, the wolves were actually a bit more fearsome. He straightened up from the tree and walked over towards the building, the dog following him. "I've run into 'em a few times... they ain't exactly friendly."

The wolf bit is understandable to Wyatt, but polar bears? That's... just really out there.

"Polar bears." Wyatt blinked "You're kidding me, right?"

Wyatt looked a bit hopeful for a second, but something in the back of his mind told him that this may actually be true.

"Wish I was, man," Duo said. "And they're not the cute cuddly things you get in a toy store, either." He shrugged.

That is unbelievable to say the least. Wyatt blinked a bit before he looked over at the abandoned building.

"What is this place?" He asked

[duo02shinigami]

"You mean the island in general or this particular building?" Duo looked at the building, too. "I've been in there. It's not much."

"I was actually talking about the building." He said, looking at the building. Wyatt was a bit disappointed when he heard that there was nothing interesting in there.

"You can go in. It isn't locked." Anymore... But Duo won't divulge how he did that. "It looks like someone used to live in there, but hasn't for a really long time."

Wyatt glanced over at Duo, trying not to look terribly spooked, but probably not hiding all of it that well. He took a deep breath as he opened the door to find out that Duo was right about the door not being locked, not taking any steps inside at the moment.

Duo just smirked.

"You goin' in?" he asked. "It's not haunted. At least, I don't think it is." He chuckled a little.

Wyatt gave him a look before he goes in the abandoned building. It was darker then he expected but continued looking at the first room.

Duo followed him in and gave him the 'grand tour'. It wasn't much. A main front room where they entered. A sleeping area in the back with a storage room. A bathroom. That was about it. There were no windows. It was designed like a bomb shelter.

"I don't get it. When I first found it, I was just as confused." He shrugged.

Wyatt had a bit of a hard time with his eyes adjusting to the sudden lack of light. There was also something on his mind.

"Shouldn't there be more things like a table? Or maybe dishes?" He asked

"Dunno..." Duo shrugged a bit. "I don't have a clue on what this place mighta been used for originally. Now, it's just a good half-way point if you're exploring the island a bit because you can close yourself in for the night, and not hafta worry about the giant wolves and polar bears gettin' you while you sleep." He smirked. "Or, yanno... gettin' wet if it rains."

This place was weird nonetheless. Maybe it was used for some sort of shelter from the local animals and weather, since it did make the most sense. THere was also another thing as well.

"Has anyone explored the area beyond this place?"
