Summary: Ruka is thinking about home, so being a creature of habit, she goes to the closest body of water to look nostalgic.
The waves were much louder to Ruka's ears than the lake's ripples back on the fief. She'd been thinking about the fief a lot lately, especially since she felt like it was time for her birthday. She wasn't certain, so she hadn't said anything. Staring at the horizon of ocean, the farm girl wondered if Father and Butler would be celebrating on the farm with her gone. She knelt down to pick up a seashell, holding it in her palms to admire the patterns.
"How are you both doing? Father? Butler...?"
