Ruka had been on her way to the store to get more cream for making butter, when she'd tripped. When she'd opened her eyes, she felt very small... After realizing what had happened, she'd gone looking for Veneziano, or Minako, or even Neil! Who was going to feed Gisella?! During her search, she came across a beautiful, white horse stomping at the ground. She hadn't seen many horses in her life, but the fact that she was smaller than normal didn't help her stun.

If Alberich cared to notice, a black rabbit with purple eyes was gaping up at him from a distance. It obviously was afraid of being trampled...

Alberich's senses hadn't been dulled very much by his sudden transformation, a brief scent of something unfamiliar making him turn to look at what was around him. He noticed a small rabbit looking at him, and he shook his head in annoyance. ~You're not a normal rabbit~

The bunny looked about herself. Where had that voice come from? She knew that it was only the horse and herself. Was he talking to her...?

"Were you talking to me, Mr. Horse?" Her voice was higher than the norm, surprising herself. She blinked her beady amethysts up at the massive animal.

Alberich nodded his head, relieved that his Mindspeech was still working. Although...he wasn't sure if he really counted as a horse...to him, it looked more like he had been turned into a Companion than a typical warhorse. ~Yes, I was.~

"Oh! Well, no, I'm not. I'm actually a girl, but I turned into a rabbit on my way to the store. I was looking for my friends because I don't think I could feed Gisella this small." She rose to her hunches with her forelegs folded against her chest. She thought she knew this horse, but she didn't think she met them as a horse though...

~As I turned into a Companion before my time.~ Alberich was sure he had likely seen that girl around, especially since there weren't many with purple eyes around. ~You should go somewhere safe.~

"Where should I go? I don't even know where I am now..." Ruka glance about herself. She wasn't familiar with this place at all. She wondered if the tavern Veneziano worked in was close by.

~If you stay in the village, you should be fine.~ That seemed common sense to him, at least. Alberich knew there were things that would eat rabbits out in the jungle, but they never really entered the village itself. ~Do you need directions to the huts?~

"If you could, sir, point in the direction, I'm sure I could find our hut. I just wish I knew how Gisella was going to fare while I'm so small... She instinctively put her front paws up to her nose, blinking innocently.

Alberich turned around so he was facing the village, trying to show the way as best he could without having any hands to just point the way. He didn't care much about the innocent look on the rabbit, having seen it far too often among youngsters. ~Go the way I'm facing. You should make it back soon.~

"That way then?" She pointed with her paw in the direction he was facing. "I'll take that way. Thank you, Mr. Horse. Will you be alright though?"

Did she really say what he thought he heard? Alberich blinked once, then almost went into what could only be described as a horse's version of laughter. He was a warhorse, how could he not be all right? ~I will be fine.~

"You're all alone out here though. Aren't you lonely?" The black rabbit leaned down on her fours. Her eyes looked at the majestic beast, hoping he wasn't as lonesome as he looked.

Alberich shook his head, preferring to not dwell on such things. He was alone in many ways, but he also knew that no one would be able to take Kantor's place, nor would he want anyone to. Companions simply could never be replaced. ~I have little trouble being alone.~

"You're very brave than, Mr. Horse. I don't think I could be alone for too long..." She hung her head. It was clear that the horse would be alright, but it didn't take away the sting in her heart for him. Not everyone wanted sympathy though. She knew that all too well. "I won't trouble you longer. Thank you again, Mr. Horse." She bowed out of habit.
