Duck! It's a duck!bokuhetaliaDecember 5 2010, 05:57:29 UTC
Italy had found himself turned into a duck for the moment. Not that he particularly cared. He was enjoying being able to wander around... being able to fly... So here was, wandering around the jungle, being the smart duck that he is. As he walked by the spot where Nagi is trying to nap, he quacked, looked around, then quacked again.

Nagi's hearing as a wildcat was better than what it was as a human, the quacking jarring him awake. He growled, slowly getting up from his perch on the branch so he wouldn't alarm the stupid animal that had woken him up.
Italy the duck didn't seem to notice that there was a large cat around and in fact decided to just stay there for a bit in the jungle even though small water fowl were probably easy targets there. He quacked again.
This was just stupid. All he was doing was minding his own business, taking a much-deserved nap...only to get woken up by a stupid duck. Nagi jumped down without much of a sound, landing behind the duck and in perfect position to surprise it. Another growl came, this one much louder than the first.
He didn't notice the leopard leap down, but as soon as he heard the growl, Italy looked back at sound. Suddenly seeing the leopard, Italy took off running... around and around and around, quaking.
Nagi growled again at the stupid bird running around and quacking, wanting to just go back up in the tree and go back to sleep. Unfortunately, it was too loud for him to do that.
After a moment, Italy stopped running, looking around as though he were suddenly in some place new even though he had just been running around in a circle.
Italy looked back at the large cat that was climbing up the tree. He inched away from the tree that Nagi had climbed up, then started back towards the beach. Being away from the big cat was probably a smart idea.

He easily walked back over to the tree, scrambling up it quickly so he could go back to sleep.
