"Oh really? Thank you so much!" She bowed, holding Gisella safely against her chest. She had never gone to someone else's home before. She didn't really could the Lord's because that was the Lord's castle. It was a great honor to visit someone, even Boy hadn't invited her to his home. She could barely hide her excitement!

"It's no problem," Italy said with a smile, leading her back in the direction of his hut. He was a very friendly person and liked to invite others over. More than anything else, he LOVED to share pasta with people. Gisella cheeped happily from her perch watching everything as they walked.

Ruka was beaming with joy. She'd made two friends today. She'd seen more of the island without getting lost. She was even invited to someone's home! She couldn't wait to tell Angel all about it!

"So what pasta will you make?"

Italy was also smiling brightly when they reached his hut. He opened the door for her so she could go inside.

"I think I will make spaghetti bologna. It's a pasta with a meat sauce."

Why must my sister be watching Mulan?!

"Meat sauce...?" Her face went blank. She tried to remember the last time she had eaten meat. It had been a while...

I don't know *lol*

Italy looked over at her. "Is that okay? I can make something different if you want."

"I don't think I've had meat sauce before..." She made a cute face of ignorance, and the fact that she knew it made her blush.

Yep, it is.

"Oh, then I will make it with meat sauce," he said with a smile. Yes, she did have a cute ignorant face. Gisella cheeped happily.

"Is it good? I can't really remember the last time I had meat. Father and I usually live off vegetables and fruits. Meat is expensive on the fief after all." She glanced around the home. Staring down at Gisella for a moment, she blinked shyly, unsure of what to do in a man's home. "Pasta must be a delicacy..."

"I think it is good," Italy replied. "It's not quite so expensive anymore where I am from." Granted he came from a more industrial time than she did. "No, pasta we sometimes eat once a day, maybe twice a day. Would you like something to drink while I'm making lunch?"

"Do you have water?" The poor thing wasn't used to drinking much else...

Italy smiled. "Of course." He went to get her the water and brought it over to her. "Here you go."

Ruka accepted the water with a grateful smile. "Thank you very much." She sat on her heels on the floor, letting Gisella sit in her lap as she sipped the water.

Italy smiles and goes over to start cooking. "You are very welcome." Gisella sat in her lap, cheeping and looking around.

They're roomates now... I checked the hut list this weekend... PFT!

"You have a lovely home, Veneziano," Ruka said with a chipper voice. As she stroked the chick's head gingerly, she glanced about curiously. It was similar to the house she lived in now, but it had it own flare and personality. She liked it.

hee... pasta dinners all the time!

"Thank you," he said with a smile as he started with the cooking. "I think we've all kind of contributed to the style of the hut." Gisella puffed up a little, settled in with Ruka as she was pet.
