Schuldig was out wandering around. He was off work and didn't particularly want to go home yet. As he walked, he spotted Nagi heading up from the first aid station. That was rather odd since he didn't seem like he had exhausted himself again. ~Hello, Prodigy~ he said, watching the younger assassin.
~Mastermind~ Nagi was still furious at what had just happened with Ribbons, and woe be on his hutmate now. Some of his anger was sure to have gotten into his mental voice, but if Schu really wanted to know, he'd ask.
Schuldig did notice the anger in his voice and yes, he was curious. It wasn't often that young Nagi got riled up like that and he wanted to know. ~I take it something not to your liking has recently occured.~
~Understatement of the year.~ Nagi stomped off towards the training ground, knowing his teammate would follow him. Schuldig wasn't known for letting things be, although he wasn't quite as curious as the stereotypical cat.
Schuldig indeed followed after Nagi. This he did have to find out about. ~So what happened?~
~Went to the hangar. Found one of the newer arrivals trying to crush Feldt's throat.~ Nagi picked up a good-sized rock, flinging it with his powers out into the forest. He briefly indulged in the mental image of a rock splitting Ribbons' damn head open.
~Ah. Sounds like she was lucky you showed up when you did~ Schuldig remarked, staying behind Nagi.
~I'm going to kill him.~
~So... you really like this girl, huh?~ Schuldig teased a bit then said ~Do you need someone to play stalker for this guy to make sure that he doesn't hurt her again?~
~Shut up.~ Nagi bristled at the teasing, that was the last thing he wanted to hear. Although, to be honest, it was the first thing that Schuldig would do that he could think of. As for the other...~I was going to make sure she's got someone around her at all times. Don't know if he's got a goon squad from his world here too.~
Schuldig just chuckled at Nagi's reaction. ~Having someone around to protect her is good. I could keep track of where he is and what he is doing if you needed someone else~ The joys of being a telepath... you didn't actually have to see your "victim" to know where they were at.
~I'll talk to the guys I know here that can be bodyguards.~ Nagi nodded slightly, trying to ignore the chuckling. Schuldig did have a point, he could find out exactly what Ribbons was doing at any time. ~What about that big German? Think he'd be useful?~
~Probably he'd be able to help. I don't know why he wouldn't be useful~
~If you want to bring him in, then go ahead. Can't hurt to have someone who's trained in fighting if something happens.~
Schuldig nodded. ~No. It can't.~ Though Schuldig was a bit surprised that he was being one of the people to protect others on the island. ~So who is the idiot that I need to keep track of?~
~His name's Ribbons, he's the fourth one in my hut. Got pale green hair that's kinda bright, so you can't miss him if you saw him.~
Schuldig nodded. ~I'll keep track of him then and I'll let you know if he goes after your girlfriend again~
Nagi's face flushed and he didn't even bother keeping to telepathic communication with the German now. "She's NOT my girlfriend!"
Schuldig chuckled. "If you say so," he remarked.
"She's not." Nagi reasserted, a shadow coming into his dark blue eyes now. Damn it, Schuldig of all people should realize why he was so adamant about that.
Schuldig let it drop. "So is this the first thing this Ribbons guy has done?"
"No. I heard from gossip that he's gone after Feldt before, also in the hangar. Something about the Gundams from her world." Considering that he worked with Neil, and Neil was one of the ones involved, it wasn't a surprise that the young assassin had heard about it.
Schuldig nodded. "I guess I'll keep track of when he's around the Gundams then." Probably one of the easiest things to do since that would probably be where anything happened.
Nagi nodded, figuring that would be easiest. "I'll talk to some of the pilots. They'll keep an eye out."
Schuldig nodded. "Most likely especially if they are from her world."
"Yeah." Nagi picked up another rock and threw it out into the forest, still not feeling much better about this whole situation. At least Feldt was safe at the first aid station, nothing would happen to her there.
Schuldig watched him throw the other rock. "Well, if there is nothing else, I will let you know if something happens regarding this guy."
Nagi nodded, intent on just staying in the training ground and using his abilities until enough of the extra had been used up. It wouldn't be a good idea to destroy anything on accident just because he couldn't control his temper.
Schuldig nodded and headed back down to the village.
