Nearby sat Ribbons, leaning up against a tree where Neil had left him, idly staring at the blood on his hands. He looked up when he heard someone, somewhat startled. Was it Hallelujah coming after him? To his relief it turned out to be a much more welcome sight. This hadn't been the way he had expected to meet Anew here on the island, but if she could be of help, he was more than happy to make use of her. He held onto the tree for support and stood up as best he could to get her attention.

Anew heard some movement from behind her. She turned and blinked in shock at seeing Ribbons standing there. He was covered in blood, not what she had been expecting to see when she caught up with him. He was obviously hurt.

At the same time, she noticed that the uniform he was wearing was different than what the Innovators had been wearing recently. It was an older version. Perhaps he didn't know what had happened between her and Lyle.

"Ribbons, what happened?" she asked, quickly crossing the distance between them.

"I'll explain later," he replied, gazing out past her. It was difficult to admit to himself, much less somebody else, that he had failed in his mission. He didn't like her seeing him like this. Ribbons was not pleased with the situation and wanted nothing more than to get it over with.

Not long after Anew had found Ribbons did Regene see the pair. He had been taking a quick walk outside (no doubt avoiding doing any actual work at the arcade) but this was far more interesting than watching the machines lighting up and whirring while Haro chattered away.

Regene approached at a slow pace, no need to startle either of them, especially with Ribbons looking as though he had gotten into a terrible fight. Surely Anew was having quite a bit of trouble with this situation~

This would be interesting.
