Summary: Patrick meets Neptune for the first time, and is shown just what the Senshi can do.

Patrick yawned stretching his arms over head. He was bored. The red head had decided to come out by the beach but it was hot and the shade under the trees just wasn't cutting it. He looked around feeling a bit depressed that no one was really around.

Neptune walked along the beach, shuffling her feet through the sand. She didn't particularly mind that it was warm out or that the sand was hot. She rather enjoyed just walking along near the water. Hotaru and Fluffy had stayed behind today, meaning it was just Neptune.

Something clicked in Patrick’s mind and he looked up towards the water. “Ooohh who’s that over there?” He leans forward a bit watching Neptune walk down the beach slowly letting out a whistle in pleasure.

Neptune faintly heard the whistle as she walked. She didn't pay it much attention. There were others around in different places. She paused a moment, looking out over the water.

He started out at her back his eyes slowly looking her over before landing on her backside. Patrick began to pull his shoes off and roll up the bottoms of his pants, his eyes not once leaving her butt. “I think I have to go say hello.” He muttered to himself as he stood.

Neptune stood there a moment longer, then glanced over her shoulder. She spotted Patrick. She smiled. "Hello," she called over to him. She hadn't met him yet.

A large grin spread over his face and he pulled the outer layer of his uniform off as well as his gloves and tossed them without a care to the floor. “Hello.” He called starting to make his way over. “I don’t think I have seen you around here before!”

She chuckled. "I could say the same to you," she remarked. Considering he was most likely new here, it was more likely that she hadn't seen him around.

“I am Patrick Mannequin but I was once known as the Immortal Colasour.” He states arriving at her side. “I do have a few questions for you though, what is your name my lovely lady? And how did I go about being on this island and not meet you before this?” He finishes with a wink and a sly smirk.

Neptune chuckled, something between a smile and a smirk on her face. Oh, this guy was definitely trouble, at least in terms of him being a flirt. "My name is Neptune," she told him. "As for how you got here and not met me before, it's probably because we haven't been in the same place. 'The Immortal Colasour'?" That was certainly an interesting nickname and with his ego being as she suspected, he'd have no problem explaining. "How does one go about getting a nickname like that?"

“See I was once known as the A.E.U’s ace. But during the Gundams 2nd coming I once again went out into battle.” He smirked becoming smug. “I survived over 7 battles with the Gundams over the two wars and actually took out one of them myself. So some of my war buddies decided to call me ‘The Immortal Colasour’ because I lived through it all.” Patrick laughs and rubs the back of his head a bit sheepishly. “My Taisa even made a point to keep me on her ship saying they wouldn’t be shot down if I were there.”

Neptune kept her features schooled. Gundams? Took out one of them? Could that be how Neil lost his eye? She nodded. "Quite impressive," she said. "It must be quite a feat to be able to survive the Gundams so many times."

“Yeah I will admit it was hard. I actually almost took another Gundam out as well, but my team was called back.” A frown crosses his lips at the memory, but it is gone almost as quickly as it came. “But that was back during the first war. So it was quite a long time ago.”

"Ah, I see. Quite interesting. Must have been an interesting line of work."

“Oh it was! Ton’s of excitement! Plus, I met my lovely Taisa.” He pauses for a moment. “Well enough about me! How about you Ms. Neptune? A lovely lady like you must have a great story?”

Neptune chuckled. This was going to be interesting. Wonder if he would believe it. "Well, I'm one of the Guardians of the Solar System in my world. My self and two others guard the outer solar system from outside threats. My element is the sea, which is why I am called Neptune."

Patrick freezes and just stares at Neptune for a moment before snorting and going into a fit of laughter. “That’s a great story! But I really wanted to hear more about you then hear an actual story.” He can feel a cramp coming and hugs his stomach trying to calm his laughter.

Well, she had expected him to not believe it. Neptune just smiled. "That is my real life," she said still with that smile. "I used to live on the planet Neptune before it became the planet that you like know it for. I have powers befitting someone named Neptune. I can demonstrate if you like."

With his laughter clamed, he stood up straight once more cocking and eyebrow up. “Sure. Lemme see these powers.” Patrick took a step back his eyes never leaving the woman in front of him

Neptune closed her eyes, letting her powers come through. Her hair started to move on its own and there was a blue-ish green light shown around her. At the same time, the relatively calm sea seemed to become a bit choppier and rather large wave formed out of nowhere.

“Gah!” Patrick jumped farther back looking back and forth between Neptune and the wave. Not making the connection that the light around her and Neptune’s powers were actually moving the water, he grabs Neptune and pulls her back. “Watch out or the water will hit you!”

Neptune chuckled still in control of the water. "You asked for a demonstration," she pointed out. The wave then broke and crashed before it reached shore.

“That was a demonstration?” He peeks over her shoulder at the water not liking this what so ever. “How is that even possible?”

"Because I have control over the ocean if I should so choose it. It listens to me and I can listen to it. I can also speak with the animals of the ocean."

“That is some talent you got there…” He steps out from behind her not going anywhere near the water. “So if I get you a fish…you can talk to it?”

Neptune chuckled. "Essentially. If I were to ask it to do something, it would listen."

“Wow,” he sighs still felling a bit shocked. “Well for such a pretty lady, I shouldn’t be surprised you are talented.” He turns facing her gives her an amazing smile. “And you are a very beautiful woman Ms. Neptune.”

Neptune smiled. "Thank you very much... for both me being talented and beautiful."

“Oh you don’t need to thank me babe, I was just saying the truth.” Suddenly his hand reaches out for Neptune’s. “Would you like to go get something to eat?” He had thought about swimming, but now the ocean frightened him a bit, so he wasn’t even going to suggest it.

Neptune moved her hand away, if only momentarily while she explained. "Yes, we can get something to eat, but as friends only. I already have someone and I assume you do as well." She wasn't going to mention just yet that her "someone" was a woman. The last time she had mentioned that with a flirtatious guy, it had gotten very weird.

Patrick frowned. “Well, I am not surprised that you have someone! A pretty young woman like your self should have yourself a good boyfriend! And they are very lucky to have you. So we will go as friends then?”

Neptune smiled. "Thank you. And yes, we can." She wasn't going to point that she was significantly older than him or her relationship status unless asked.

“How did you know I have someone too?” Patrick tilted his head in question, then started to head towards his boots waving his hand at Neptune saying she should follow.

Neptune followed him. "Well, you told me your last name then told me your nickname was 'the Immortal Colasour'. I assumed the first was your married name."

He plops down on the floor and begins to pull his massive boots on. “Oh.” For some reason that had not crossed Patrick’s mind. He finished pulling his clothing back on then bounced back up to his feet. “Wanna see our wedding picture?” You could see a sparkle of happiness in his eyes.

Neptune smiled, the romantic of Outer Senshi. "Sure, I'd love to see.”

Patrick fumbles with his pockets then pulls out his wallet. Within a moment the picture was pulled out and shoved in front of Neptune. Patrick stood in the picture grinning happily in a white suit and his hair somewhat flatter than normal. While his wife stood next to him in her wedding dress looking stern and elegant but with a smile as well. “Isn’t my dear Taisa beautiful?”

Neptune blinked looking at the picture, studying it a moment then nodded. "Yes, she is. Congratulations to both of you."

“Thank you~” He pulled the picture back gave it a quick kiss then slipped it back into his wallet. “Now! Let us go and get some food! Any ideas? I haven’t really been anywhere around here so I have no idea where to go.”

"There's the cafe," Neptune suggested. "That's about the only place where there is to get hot food and sandwiches." Let's just hope that Jon wasn't there today. That might be too much for the poor boy.

“Then the café it is!” He offered Neptune his arm as his stomach growled, preparing to lead her though he had no idea where he was going.

Neptune chuckled and took his arm. She had no problem with doing that. It was historically the way any gentleman escorted a lady, romantic relationship or not. She would help guide him there.

"So have you been on this island a long time?" He questioned looking down at her. Patrick was really curious about this woman since she was nice to him, plus he was use to his wife’s sharp tones and beatings.

"Over a year now," Neptune replied. "I was here before and got sent home. I came back to be with the person I love."

“You can go home?” Patrick wishes he could go home to see his lovely Kati. He was starting to get worried about her and he really did miss her. This island is too weird for him.

"Usually only when the island sends you home. There are very few that can come and go... but they don't do it often."

Patrick’s whole demeanor changes as he frowns. He doesn’t like this idea of him not being able to leave if he wants. He wanted to go home and see his Taisa and start a family. “Oh...”

"Of course, your wife may show up here... that seems to happen sometimes."

“I don’t think she would.” He has a sinking feeling and disapproves of it. “I wonder if she misses me….” He starts to remember when she thought he died and screamed out his name. Patrick smiles a little bit at the thought. “Anyway, let’s go and get that food!”

Neptune nodded. "Sounds good."
