Summary: Omi finally gets the truth out of Aya

Omi wasn't sure how long he had run, but his pale blue apron was now covered in blood, and he was short on air. Leaning back against the far outside hanger wall, he slide to the ground, a trail of blood left behind on the wall. Tears streamed down his face, even though he wasn't sure just how Aya had gotten the mark, he had a fairly good idea. Tilting his head back against the wall, he just sat there, he wasn't aware of the time, staring up at the sky.

As soon as Duo left the shop, Ran turned the sign to closed and ran after Omi. He followed the hurried footprints in the sand until he came to the hangar. Turning the corner, his violet eyes widened. "Omi!" Not caring what the blonde would do, he ran over and then picked him up. "Damn it Omi."

The boy laughed. An empty sound. "Just leave it. It'll be fine. How much more blood can I possibly have?" The hurt was evident in his voice.

"Like hell. What happened and don't tell me nothing, you wouldn't be bleeding from you... Berserker." He growled.

"Yeah. He caught me alone in between Crawford's disappearance. Man was it stupid to go alone to the laundromat." He tried to wave Aya off of him. As of this moment, he didn't exactly want him mothering him.

Ran wasn't mothering him. So, he carried him to the first aid station, silent and fuming the entire way. "Why didn’t you come do me? Why did you hide it? It could have been serious Omi! You could have died!"

"Why were you hiding it?" His voice was cold, as were his eyes. Without the strength to fight him of, Omi just let himself be carried.

He didn't reply to that as he opened the door to the first aid station. "Hello?" He called. Ran knew those that worked here where usually in the back.

Jin came out of the back, where he was taking a tally of the medical supplies. "What can I do..." He stopped when he saw the blood on Omi, "Put him down on the cot." the doctor instructed.

The boy wasn't about to forget their previous subject, he just didn't think it needed to be discussed in front of someone else.

Ran put Omi down and then stepped back.

Rolling up his sleeves, Jin walked over and moved Omi's apron and shirt. He took a quick assessment of the wounds and then looked at the blonde. "You should have come to me earlier."

Omi shrugged, looking away. "I could barely make it home, must less the first aid station." Really, he didn't owe anyone an explanation, it was his own life. Sighing, Omi tried to subdue the burning fire in the pit of his stomach. It wasn't nice to be rude to the doctor who had done nothing to him.

He sighed and then went to get a cloth to clean away the blood.

While he was gone, the blonde fiddled with the bandage on his hand, unsure that he wanted to say anything to Aya even while the man was gone. It was obvious that he was going to be back.

Jin returned a moment later and began to clean the wounds. "Don't be alarmed by what I'm going to do next."

He laughed, yet again it was empty. "Nothing can be as bad as having the wound burned closed." Omi didn't even care to look at the wounds as the doctor treated them.

He chuckled and placed his hands over the wounds. "Ha, ki..." He whispered calling his ether forth. There was then a blue glow.

Omi wasn't even startled by the blue glow he saw out of the corner of his eye. In fact, for some reason it felt like nothing mattered anymore.

Once he finished healing the wounds, he pulled back. "Your wounds are closed and any pending infections are gone, but the area will be sore for the next few days."

"Thanks." He muttered. Standing, Omi bowed his head in Jin's direction before leaving the building.

Ran nodded to Jin quickly and then ran after Omi. He grabbed the blonde's arm.

Omi stopped, his head lowered so that his hair covered his eyes. "What? Are you going to give me some lame story as to how you got that?"

"No Omi, I'm not.... Br-- Oracle's been staying with me the last few days."

"I figured that out on my own. I'm not as blind as you seem to think I am." He couldn't look at Aya now, if he did, he might just break.

"Omi... Please, look at me."

"Just tell me the truth. All of it." He shook his head.

Ran sighed a bit and ran a hand through his hair. "We slept together."

Gritting his teeth, Omi pulled his arm out of Aya's grasp. "Is that right?" He knew it. The foreboding feeling he had earlier crashed against him like a tidal wave.

"You wanted the truth!" He said, "You wouldn't have known if you just left well enough alone!"

"'Wouldn't have known', does that mean you wouldn't have told me? You would have left me in the dark, letting me think there was something between us, when obviously it's one-sided?" The hurt he was feeling was morphing into anger.

"I don't know what I would have told you!" Ran said, "I'm not good at this, whatever this is."

"You could have said something. Rather than letting me think everything was the same." He clenched his fist, aware of the soreness left behind.

Ran sighed and shook his head. "I'm an idiot, I know."

"Are you..." Omi paused. "Are you happy with him?" His voice shook with emotion.

"Brad and I?" He scoffed, "How am I supposed to know? It happened once Omi. Who knows if it'll be anything more."

For a long moment there was nothing but silence. Turning to look at Aya, there was a forced smile on his face, and tears in his eyes. "Well, I hope you're happy. I think I'll be taking some time off from the flower shop." With that he turned back, walking away from his teammate.

Ran just stood there as Omi walked away. He shook his head and then headed to the training grounds. At least there... No one would question it if he was angry, upset... Damn Crawford, damn him. the red head thought bitterly.

ran aya, omi
