Summary: Uranus gets home from work and she and Neptune talk.
Uranus headed home after her shift at the training grounds. She nodded to Lockon as she went past him. She was now used to the idea of Neptune teaching him how to dance. It was cute and she was happy that Pluto had found someone. "Thala, I'm home!" she called.
Neptune looked over at Uranus as she came in. "Welcome home," She said with a smile. "How was your day?"
"Good, yours?" She asked before kissing Neptune's cheek.
"It was good," she said. "Lockon's definitely improving."
"That's good."
Neptune smiled. "So are you excited about going to the dance, Aeola?"
"It's a dance." She replied, "As long as I don't have to wear a dress, I'm good."
Neptune chuckled. "You don't have to."
She grinned. "Good."
Neptune leaned up and kissed her on the cheek.
The blonde's goofy smile grew.
Neptune chuckled. "Kore and I are going to help each other get ready for the dance on Valentine's so you're going to need to be nice to Lockon while you two wait."
"I can be nice."
Neptune chuckled. "I know you, Aeola. You are protective of Kore."
"She's my best friend. I have a right."
"I know you do," Neptune remarked. "She's my friend too. But you have a way of coming off strong, especially where she is concerned."
"I'll be nice. I promise."
"Okay. I'll trust you on that."
She smiled.
"He's a nice guy. They would do each other good," Neptune said as she headed into the kitchen. "Would you like anything to drink?"
"Coffee?"
Neptune smiled, "Sure." And she set about making coffee.
"I know they'll be good for each other. Hopefully he'll get Kore to loosen up."
Neptune nodded. "Hopefully this dance will help them realize that."
"If not, can I lock them in a closet?"
Neptune sighed. "No you can't lock them in a closet."
"Why not!"
"Because between Kore and Lockon, they could probably get out of there fairly easily. Also that would make Kore mad at you and she'd probably hunt you down so she could hit you with her staff. And knowing your luck, they'd probably just tell each other about their worlds until someone let them out."
"I hate it when you're right."
Neptune laughed as she finished with the coffee. She picked up the two mugs, handing one to Uranus.
Uranus took the cup and smiled. "Thanks Thala."
"You're welcome, Aeola," she said smiling back.
She smiled.
"Hotaru's planning on going to dance as well."
"With who?"
"I think she and Minako are going just to go."
"Alright."
Neptune nodded. "I'm glad that she's going to go."
"Yeah, it'll do her good."
"Yeah. She's getting over Nate it seems."
"That's good."
Neptune smiled.
Uranus smiled back.
Neptune leaned slightly against Uranus.
She wrapped her arms around Neptune, smiling.
Neptune looked up at her and smiled.
Uranus kissed her forehead.
Neptune smiled.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Aeola."
Uranus smiled.
Neptune leaned up and kissed Uranus on the cheek.
