TD Log Storm Play

Oct 01, 2008 17:52

Who: Seras, Q, Uranus
When: During the storm event
Where: outside
Rating: G
Warnings: Q
Summary: Q arrives and starts to dig his own grave, one senshi at a time.

The Q glanced around at the volcano he apparently stood upon, then around at the rather odd weather. He glared upwards and silently cursed the rest of the Continuum for sending him to an apparently dreadful place. It was not like he had done anything even! He huffed and looked around, hoping to see something interesting to play with.

After she'd left the infirmary, Seras had went to find a tree to climb. Perhaps insanity was catching from her Master, but she was having a very fun time playing in the storm.

Uranus laughed as she walked through the wind and rain. Everyone thought it bothered her, but she was the Guardian of the Wind after all. Pulling some of the wind into a ball, she threw it at the vampire that had crossed near her.

Q grinned when he noticed two beings, both seemed to be having fun. He snapped his fingers and appeared near them, all the better to watch them closer.

Seras yelped, falling back and laughing. She struck her tongue out childishly at the woman that she was sure had send the blast, seeing that no one else was out there that she could see.

"You know..." Uranus called gathering some wind into her hands. "I hate tricksters... Especially ones that remain silent when I know they're there..."

"Who, me?" Q had snapped his fingers again only to come up behind Uranus, grinning unrepentantly.
Then quicker than he could teleport, she moved, shoving her elbow back into Q's gut. "Yes you, you ass. Pluto's told me about you."

"A new arrival?" Seras asked, curious. "From your world?"

Q flailed at the attack and blinked at her in utter shock. "You elbowed me!! You aren't supposed to elbow me!!" Then he pouted. "You would be the Wind person, aren't you?" He sighed, mock mournfully before looking at Seras. "I live no where and everywhere. What about you?"

"I'm from a version of Earth," Seras said, eying him. Though she hadn't met either of them, he made her a little nervous.

Uranus shook her head. "Yeah Q, I'm the Wind person, as you so elegantly put it."

Q blinked at Seras. "Different dimensions coming together?" He grinned. "Fascinating!" He then smirked at Uranus. "Hot headed Uranus then. Odd name, I've always thought."

She grumbled a bit and then smacked Q upside the head.

Q threw up his hands in a huff. "Why must you abuse me?!"

Seras giggled, amused by their interaction. They clearly knew each other.

"Because I hate you. That's why."

Q crossed his arms and frowned at her. "I have done nothing to you. Nothing I say!" Of course he had to play the victim, he was a Q, after all.

Uranus crossed her arms over her chest and just glared at Q. "Like hell."

"I take it you've met before?" Seras asked tentatively.

Q looked around. "That's not right, this is not Hell. I would know." He looked back at the Wind Guardian and smiled innocently.

He shook his head at Seras. "No, but we know of each other."

Now she was confused. "What did you do that she already hates you?"

"He messed with my best friend."

Q huffed again. "I did not such thing. She was lonely, and I decided to keep her company."

"By pestering her. You know how she feels about that."

"Who was it?" Seras asked, feeling a little lost.

Q pouted. "I still kept boredom away, even if she thought it was irritating."

"How many times did she beat you with her staff?"

Q grumbled. "You already know how many times Pluto beat me. I am hardly going to repeat it."

Red eyes widened. "You pestered Pluto? That's... insane."

Uranus grinned and cackled a bit. She then, well... Flounced away a bit to stand near Seras.

Seras stepped back quickly. Cackling people with elemental powers were never good to be near.

Q shrugged. "I was bored. She was bored. I decided to alleviate both problems. Hardly my fault she's uppity."

She spun her hand around a bit and then threw the small twister at Q. She loved storms, they provided a lot of wind.

Q snapped his fingers and avoided the twister by appearing a foot away from where he'd been standing. He had excess energy, why not use it?

Uranus shook her head.

Staring, Seras eeped. While the natural storm was fun, she wasn't sure if it was too safe to be near two people with that sort of power when they were fighting, even playfully.

Q smirked smugly.

"Don't get too smug Q!"

"Oh? And why not?" Q continued to smirk.

She ran over and grabbed him, grappling the trickster to the ground.

Q flinched and snapped his fingers to see if teleporting would get the 'Wind person' off him, though he did land with an audible 'oomph!'.

And Uranus was now sitting on top of him. She tilted her head to one side and then smirked. The blonde Guardian then punched him.

Q pouted in the second he had before he got punched. Slightly muffled, he protested. "What did I say about hitting me?!"

Seras stepped back, putting distance between herself and the two fighters.

"It makes me feel better."

Q stared at the guardian in disapproval, deciding to try the preaching method and snapped his fingers to change his clothing to match. "Violence is never the answer, Child."

"Don't pull that shit with me Q. I'm older than you."

Q quirked a brow. "Oh really? By what measurement do you use?"

"You know how old Pluto is, right? Older than time itself pretty much... I was born two years after she was."

Q shrugged. "I could not say I was ever actually born.."

"I'm older than time too." Uranus said before punching him one last time and standing up. She wiped her wet hair out of her face.

Q winced again, snapping his fingers once again to return his clothing to the way they'd been before, as well as to remove any evidence of the unwarranted, in his opinion, violence upon his person.

He stood up before shrugging. "Still does not make you older, necessarily."

"Pardon me for intruding, but if you're both going to be trapped on the same island, maybe you should try not to fight so much?" Seras suggested. "The storm is doing enough damage on it's own."

Uranus stood up, dusting herself off. "Old grudge. As long as the trickster stays out of my way, I'm good."

Q snorted. "From what I know, you enjoy tricking people. I, however, just watch harmlessly from the sidelines. Helping when needed."

The blonde huffed and turned to head off.

Q smirked to himself, loving it when he got the last word in. Or at least appeared to.

"You're both children," Seras muttered.

"Children are fun to watch." Q responded cheerfully.

"Sorry little vampire, you're the child."

"Chronologically, maybe."

Q was probably more amused by the exchange than he should have been, but did not bother hiding his grin.

Uranus looked at them and then shook her head.

Q quickly grew bored after that and waggled his fingers at them. "Bye!" No explanation as he snapped his fingers and went off to continue his exploration of his new 'prison'.

She sighed and shook her head.

"Who is he?" Seras asked.

"That's Q... He's a trickster with too much power. Now... I'd better get home or Neptune will have my head."

"I hope he never meets Master," she said, a little morose. "Enjoy the rest of the storm, Miss Uranus."

"See ya around Vampire Girl!" Uranus called before running back towards her hut.

Seras blinked. "Vampire... girl?"
