Uranus grinned as she turned on the light for the fish tank that held three beautifully angel fish. With a nod, the blonde put a note ontop of the fish tank and a vase of Lily of the Valley next to the tank. She left their room and went out into the living room.
Neptune was just getting back from work. She paused outside the door for a moment, looking off towards the beach, then she opened the door and stepped inside, shutting the door behind her. "Hello, Aeola," she said, smiling when she saw the other woman.
"Hey Thala..." the blonde said with a grin.
"How was your day?" Neptune asked, walking over and kissing Uranus.
"Fine." She replied kissing Neptune back.
"That's good," she said with a smile.
She smiled back and stretched.
Neptune glanced around to see if she could spot her book. Not seeing it, she headed down the hall towards their bedroom.
Uranus smirked a little bit and then relaxed, waiting to hear Neptune's reaction.
Neptune walked into the bedroom and immediately spotted the fish tank and the flowers. She gasped, clasping her hands over her mouth for moment, then she picked up the note that had been left and read it.
'Thala,
Hope you like the present sweetie.
Aeola'
Neptune smiled, putting the note down. She headed back out the bedroom and walked over to Uranus. Without saying a word, she threw her arms around Uranus and hugged her.
"You saw it then?"
Neptune nodded. "Thank you so much."
"You're welcome."
Neptune kissed Uranus again, still hugging her.
"Sorry it took so long."
"It's alright," Neptune said with a slight chuckle. "Where did you get the fish?"
"A little freshwater pond in the jungle."
Neptune smiled again. "Thank you Aeola."
"You're welcome."
"They are beautiful fish."
"I'm glad you like them sweetie."
Neptune nodded. "I do."
Uranus grinned.
Neptune smiled, snuggling close to Uranus.
Uranus just held her close.
"I love you so much," she whispered to Uranus.
"I love you too."
Neptune smiled.
Uranus kissed Neptune's forehead.
Neptune lay her head against Uranus's shoulder.
"Have you seen Hotaru lately?"
Neptune nodded. "She came in the store for a bit today."
"That's good."
Neptune nodded. "She misses living in the same hut as us."
"I know she does."
Neptune sighed. "And I miss having her here, but things don't seem to work out for her to live with us."
"I know Thala, I know. I miss her too." Uranus said gently.
Neptune nodded. "Maybe it will work out soon that she can live with us again."
"All we can do is hope."
Neptune nodded. "It is."
Uranus smiled.
