RP Log - Preparations
Who: Taiki, Treize
When: Just before the Halloween party
Where: Taiki's hut

Summary: Treize goes to pick up Taiki for the party.
Treize straightened his jacket one last time. Checking the mirror, he stepped out of the hut and turned, walking quickly towards Taiki's hut.
Taiki was leaning over the sink in the bathroom, carefully applying the last bit of the make-up. Blinking a bit, she pulled away and set down the make-up brush. She looked over herself and smiled.
Treize knocked on the door after stepping up to it.
She turned and went over to the door. With a last smooth of her dress, she opened the door, careful to to allow any of the skirts to become caught under it.
Treize smiled. "Good evening, milady," he said, giving her a bow to act his part.
Taiki smiled in return and curtised to him. "Thank you good sir." She replied surpressing a laugh.
"You're quite welcome." He smiled. "Are you ready?"
"In a moment, would you like to come in?" Taiki asked stepping to one side.
"Certainly." He stepped inside at her invitation.
She shut the door and smiled at Treize. "Would you like anything?"
He shook his head. "No thank you."
Taiki nodded. "Excuse me a moment, I need to get something from my room."
"Certainly."
She turned and walked down the hallway towards her room. A few moments later, she emerged. "Could you help me put on my necklace? I can't do it very well myself."
"Alright." He walked over and held out his hand for the jewelry.
She handed Treize the necklace and turned around, lifting her hair.
Treize carefully reached through Taiki's arms with the necklace in one hand, then took the ends in both hands, clasping it behind her back.
Turning back around, she smiled at Trieze. "One last thing, and we can be on our way."
He nodded.
Taiki smiled and then walked over to the kitchen. She retrieved something out of the refridgerator and returned to Treize.
Treize clasped his hands behind his back as he waited, watching her for a moment.
Smiling she handed him the white rose boutinerre that had the edges faintly tinted a light purple.
"That's lovely, Taiki... thank you."
"You're welcome," she said smiling at him.
"I think it's the lady's job to put it on, yes?"
"Forgive me, it's not often I do this," she replied, removing the boutinerre from it's case.
"That's quite alright."
Carefully, Taiki attached the flower to Treize's jacket, being careful as she did.
Treize watched, smiling slightly as she did so.
When she finished, Taiki stepped back, raising to meet Treize's eyes.
"Thank you," he said.
"You're welcome."
Treize smiled. "Are we ready?"
"We are," she replied with a nod.
Treize offered his arm to her. "Shall we go, then?"
Taking the offered arm, she smiled. "We shall."
Treize smiled back and led her out to the gym.
