Summary: Lookie, it's the Halloween party!

On Treize's arm, Taiki entered the gym. She smiled at the decorations and then glanced at her date. Her amethyst eyes flickered about to the party. Some people she knew well and some she didn't.

She arched an eyebrow at chaos' costume. He was a Roman Soldier, how... Ironic.

Smoothing a wrinkle from the purple fabric of her French aristocrat dress, she suddenly felt rather nervous, and she had no idea why. Swallowing, she hoped she looked alright. True, she wasn't wearing a powdered wig, but god help anyone who tried to get her into one, Treize included in that.

Treize looked around the room as they entered. It wasn't much different than the one last year in the desert. He smiled at the people gathered in costumes. It was very pleasant. He looked at Taiki.

"Do you want to see what's available at the buffet?" he asked her. "Or perhaps just some punch?"

"Some punch for now. That's fine for now." Taiki replied smiling warmly at him.

Treize nodded. "Would you care to sit or come with me?" he then asked, turning to head for the buffet.

"I'll go sit down." Taiki smiled and turned to find an empty table.

Treize nodded and walked away from her. He found her not long after, covered in silly string and carrying two glasses of punch. He put them down with a sigh, cleaning himself off.

"I think I was just 'attacked' by one of Maxwell's friends... the short boy," he said, wiping at the long bits of foamy like substance that was stuck to him.

Taiki rose to her feet and helped Treize remove the silly string. "That would be Jr. He's actually older than both of us, I believe he is twenty-nine."

Treize chuckled. "Yes... I remember that, now... I think someone told me once."

She reached up and pulled a long strand from Treize's hair. "Hmm, pink and purple. I hope that Mr. Maxwell doesn't see, or he's going to tease you."

"I wouldn't be surprised," he said. "It wouldn't be the first time he's teased people about things. It's what he does." Free of the string, he motioned for Taiki to sit, pulling the chair out for her.

Smiling, she sat down. Picking up the glass, she took a sip. "So, why were you attaacked?"

"I'm not sure... I think it was just for fun," Treize said, taking his seat. He picked up his glass and took a sip.

Taiki laughed, smiling around the rim of her glass. She looked at Treize under her eyelashes.
