"Love is wanting to be loved."

Tarah has auditioned for some plays. And at the moment, she is very nervous/excited about the results. Of course, in a few hours (or maybe tomorrow morning if she soon crashes) she will only know the outcome of call-backs. She has reason to suspect, though, that call-backs, contrarily to American auditioning protocol, make or break all who may be involved. Gotta love a different school of thought.

Either way, she'll help in whatever way she can. You see, Tarah also made friends. After auditions, Tarah was invited to the bar with the theatre exec. No Freshers were in attendance... Thus, Tarah has been accepted into their ranks as an equal. Yay for having extensive theatre knowledge. She is exceptionally interested in the play called 'Warhol'... Experimental in nature, the play explores the counter cultures, dominated (but not limited) from this perspective by Andy Warhol's Pop Factory, without the appearance of Warhol himself in the play. Ever. He is the omni-presence in which the characters revolve around--obsess over. Tarah cannot think of a better play to suit her needs as an actress. Or designer. Or historian-in-training. Or artist in general. Seriously, the play's concepts revolve around her analysis of the Beats, of HIppies, of counter-culture-craze-turned-old-news-turned-new-again. All you history buffs out there get ready for a wild, somewhat psychedelic ride. But if you're not keen on the likes of Warhol and his parade of smoke-hazed fantasizers, beware. The next few posts will not be for you. Did I mention it's a student written play? Tarah spent most of last evening conversing with the writers on such topics. It's good to know that people half-way across the world are just as crazed about the same subjects.

Maybe the world isn't so big after all.

Maybe she's just kidding herself.

Time will tell. Cheerio!
