Two PM and All's well...

Tarah does not like to keep in touch with her cat. I had to call her at 2 pm her time... that's 8 am our time! Anyway, she's had a crazy time of it in the hostel.

On the first day she suffered heavily from jet lag. She cried a bit, realizing she was completely alone in a brand new place. Don't worry though; she got over it soon enough because her suitemates were very friendly. There was Jess the New Zealander, an older ladie who is a live-in resident, and Rob the Australian. They made her feel welcome enough to skip down to the bar that evening. She saw naked people dancing that night. It was a contest. whoever pole-danced, stripped, drank, and entertained the best out of 10 characters got free accommodations for the next week. The first liquor Tarah bought legally was a bacardi... at 3 in the afternoon! Then she felt sick. Go figure.

The second day was seventeen times better because she messed around the city with Tom. Tom arrived early, so Tarah went out in little to no style. Honestly, she looked a mess comparatively with the attractive Brit, but the only harsh words he ever uttered were in jest and had nothing to do with her appearance. After Tom and Tarah had a few misadventures, it was time for him to go. So Tarah went back to the hostel bar and flirted with Dave.

Actually, Dave approached Tarah first. It was not at all awkward; they totally got along. They played pool, he showed her how to aim... then they kissed. And kissed. And went for a walk... kissed some more... went back to his room. [censored] Anyway, it was interesting for her to wake up next to him as her suitemates were preparing for the day ahead. Much to her dismay, she has not seen him since just before breakfast. She didn't eat breakfast at all.

In fact, she wasn't hungry. I don't blame her. I suppose that's the way it goes. Anyway, she tried to find Abbey Road. That didn't work at all. She got completely lost, then she got back to the hostel to find that she was all alone again in a different room. She moved her bags and tried to keep herself occupied. Sounds to me like things are already getting confusing, and it's only the second day.

Cheers!
