And I believe it's high time to bring back the ol' livejournal. Possibly to remind myself about stuff, or to remind you folks about stuff. Post retarded comments again if you wish.
SO
Lots of stuff has happened in the past months that I wont delve into here.
I'll make this schedule more formal for those of you unfamiliar with my classes.
1st period- University Computer Science... With Missa Chen! We got thrown out of our computer lab today and he tried to teach us in the cafeteria about arrays. Nobody was paying attention... so we started playing with a pack of army men. Of course, Paul Godzilla-ed one of the minesweepers and left a note saying "RIP Private. Looks like you finally found that mine." Wallace got his playing cards taken away. Haha... sucks. I got my math homework done in the meantime.
2nd period- ICM. Mind-numbingly boring, as usual. I took two short naps and then did my english homework.
3rd period- English. I think its bad that im more awake in my english class than math... seing as Canterburry tales arent the most enthralling of stories. Nondi, Mark and I went into a few discussions about random stuff, as usual, and then we got our new book: Alas, Babylon. About nuclear war or something. I'm sure I'll find out later.
Lunch- Went to Mama Mia's. Always good. Quite entertaining when Jill informed us all that her pants have developed a large hole. I picked up her hoodie to see... and wow. What a hole. Nice placement as well. I was almost blinded by the pasty-white thigh.
4th- Physics. Ms Beiles gave me false hope at tech fest yesterday when she told me she tried and tried but couldnt find anything to take points off of the written part of my test. So I'm thinking I did great because the Multiple choice was easy. Haha... No. I got 14/20 on the MC, mostly because of stupid shit like punching it into my calc wrong. But with test corrections I can get it up to a 91.. my second lowest grade in that class, surpassed by a 90 on a lab. Then we talked about Newton, and I got hungry for some fig cookies....
After school, Robert, Jill and I went and dropped Jill's pants off at the Tailors to get em patched up. Then to kill some time we wandered about the mall for an hour or so. I bought something for SB for my massivly creative valentines gift that shall remain a surprise. Then Jill and Robert kind of... pissed me off so I took em home.
When I got home, mom was upstairs so I plopped down on the couch and slept for half an hour... woken up by my dad coming by to participate in this online chat for the applied sciences department for UNC. Enthralling. Ruined a perfectly good nap. I planned on just sleeping, whenever I woke up I'd do my homework, then just go back to sleep until morning. But no that didnt work... Mom decided to come in and yell at me for making the computer slow. Then she left, and came back to yell at me for not telling her where I was yesterday. I was in fact at Tech Fest, as I informed her the day before, and I would have called to say that I was going out to dinner afterwards, but I had low battery on my phone. I just called my dad and told him i was going out to dinner and would stop by his place to talk about college stuff afterwards. So he informed my mom, but that didnt matter. Then I got yelled at for not writing my NCSU Honors essay, made to vaccumm the upstairs, and chastised for not getting enough sleep. Ahhh fun. So I just finished my homework and then I decided to update the ol' journal.
And something thats been bothering me: Drug use. No, not by me, but by people I know. ALRIGHT LISTEN UP! I DONT WANT TO SEE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT DESTROYING THEIR BODIES BY DRINKING, SMOKING (cigarettes or pot), OR JUST BEING A TOTAL DUMBASS! Not to mention losing your job because you smoked up at work, or if your parents were to find out, or any number of things. Yes, I've done something stupid a few months ago, but that was between Me and Sarah Beth, and we won't make the same mistake again. Drugs are a poor alternative to dealing with your own problems. So I just started asking people what their anti-drug was. Heres what I got:
Me: SB, and how I like being healthy.
Boris: Being Russian
Paul: Not being a fucking failure at life
Sheller: Not being a crackwhore
Anna: School
Matt: Being a control freak
Eric K: Life
Michael: Sarah
Nondi: Not being Jessica Ullian
Russ: Food, Laziness, and Eric
Eric C: Tubbs
As you can see, there are plenty of anti-drugs. If you're still intent on messing up your life, there are plenty of other ways. I'm just disappointed at these people. Ugh.
