Long Lost Friend_Advice Wanted
I know that whatever happened in a dream is most likely not true, but it did get me thinking again about a very close friend in High School that I haven't heard from since last Halloween at Denise's Halloween party. This friend is a girl named Lydia:
In this dream, I was riding in a car on snowridden streets and we come to a stop at a crossroads with a bunch of people in the middle of the road having a snowball fight. A man steps out of our car and begins to throw snowballs too, and since it seemed as though we're not going to be going anywhere soon, I step out and attempt to strike up some small-talk with the one who's just watching. They turned out to be the person whom I haven't heard from in a long time. So I attempted to give this person a hug but they back away. So I attempt to ask why they've been so distant all this time and they tell me, almost in tears, that it's too painful to talk about...
I don't exactly understand this dream. Perhaps my friend (and dream analyst) Claire can decipher this one. But on and off I hear from Amy or Andrea that this person has talked to them or at least said hi to them. And yet I still wonder why it seems like they've been avoiding me. Had I done something wrong? Had I SAID something wrong? Because we all know that rumors that float around school are like the worst thing in the world. Lately, I've been trying to contact this person, inviting them to movie nights and get togethers to the mall and whatnot, and many of you know I'm not one to leave voicemails unless it's urgent. But so far with no avail.
ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE?????
