It's sad, but I think I've already got my next few paycheques planned out. I haven't spent any money yet, but it's only a matter of time. I need new clothes (mine are getting a little tatty), I'm getting a new bag, wallet, ect., and I'm thinking of investing in a scanner, tablet, and all the neccissary programs. I also want to get new luggage

For the love of god, don't buy the programs. Download them illegally, purchasing photoshop alone is $800. Companies don't care, they only prosecute large companies that do that, as you need licenses for every computer it's used on.

Get the tablet and scanner used, my wacom tablet from 2001 is just as good as the one I use at work from last year and people throw out scanner/printers all the time.

Let's have a night of the art stuff then, I'll get you set up. There are a couple tutorial books you should rent from the library (they are way too expensive to buy) because figuring out this shit on your own is really tricky.
