01. Why are collectibles so shiny?

a) All the better to make you want to collect them.
b) Because if they weren't shiny, people wouldn't collect them.

02. Why do new computers seem to come with only USB-C's?

a) To be annoying... so USB anything doesn't fit.
b) Who needs backward compatability in shiny new hardware? All the better to make you buy new gear if the old stuff is now obsolete.

03. Why are pennies bigger than dimes?

a) It is made out of different materials and has a different comparative value than silver currency.
b) Copper was cheaper once upon a time.

04. Why do our bodies like to have weird reactions to things when we least expect them?

a) Your body keeps you on your toes... literally.
b) All the better to keep you on your toes.

05. Why do people tell you that "feeling" is good, when it hurts so much?

a) There's a reason it's said that all things are good in moderation. Sadly, there is no fool-proof way to regulate things like emotions.
b) They're weird. Not feeling is so much better.

06. How come the sun makes your skin darker but your hair lighter?

a) Bleaching effect on the hair, but it's basically burning your skin... Like bread in an oven.
b) Because hair is dead and skin is alive, so it has a different effect on the melanin in both.

07. Why is there never enough hours in the day to read all the things?

a) Even if there were enough hours in the day, our bodies can only last for so long before sheer exhuastion will make you drop. We aren't robots yet.
b) Honestly, you probably don't want to read all the things in the first place so this is a moot point.

08. What is a scenario in which Mango would own a purple llama?

a) Mango owns a purple llama in an existance in which the whole world is made of oddly colored animals and Mango has a zoo full of them.
b) Buy a Kuzco llama plushie and dye it purple.

09. If Wile Coyote had enough money for all that Acme stuff, why didn’t he just buy dinner?

a) He wanted that roadrunner! He also was obviously not exactly firing on all cylinders and that totally would have ruined the point of the show.
b) Persistence is the key to success, right?

10. Why isn't how often you should replace things more common knowledge?

a) Usually because it's common sense.
b) Most people don't think about that sort of thing until it's actually an issue. We live in a world of day-to-day living, not advanced planning.
