Non-mods are free to ignore this. /o/
This is basically a note to the new mods.
Non-mod first mastery has been ruled out, as you guys know. That being the case, mods getting first mastery due to having easy access to cards can once again become a Big Deal if the previous trend of mods getting crazy chain masteries quicker than regular members is revived.
Since you're now in charge of game upkeep, please take members into consideration when trying to rush to get a first mastery. If another member is going after the same deck as you are with the same priority, it's very courteous to take it into consideration before rushing your own masteries. This is especially valid when there's deck updates, since with careful manipulation of choices it's possible to master a new deck in under a week (it's been done).
Many of the new mods have a massive amount of cards and easy access to choices, so please be careful to not overdo it. I don't want anyone's playing experience to be lessened, but I do think mods have a bigger responsibility toward making sure the game is enjoyable for other people.
This isn't to say anyone is DOING this, but I figure it's best said as a preventive measure than after the fact. XD
That said, you guys are doing a fantastic job so far, keep it up! :3
