Rank C Certificates have been ruled out from deck pay. Now with rewards for first mastery, they gave the mods/deckmakers a very unfair advantage.
THE POSSIBLY CHANGING (?)
(for now I will follow shiina_nozumo's advice and see if things are evened out a bit.)
By the same token, rewards for first mastery for mods and (permanent) deckmakers are now halved. While this sucks and may sound unfair, mods have access to more cards than members do and can master much faster even without the cert advantage - we don't need the super card boost from that bonus.
And lastly, a piece of advice - if you still have the many certs from deck pay on you, don't rush to trade them in! Up until now it's been very easy for us to get our hands on certs, and as much as I know we're all eager to master, trading everything in at this point for a mastery will look a little unfair (I've mentioned this to ririkit before, I think?) - especially with the rewards freshly implemented.
If anyone has any complaints feel free to voice them! The C certs aren't debatable, but the rest is. :3
EDIT: Possible solution (rewards staying mastered and C certs still being ruled out, mind): Mod mastery doesn't rule out member mastery for first master badge? i.e., I mastered necro first. I have that first master badge. This doesn't mean a member can't get a first master badge - the first regular member to master necro would still get a badge?
If members master first mods can't get the badge anymore, because um yeah card advantage, but.
