[mod] :: [fixed cards & reminder]

Nov 27, 2008 11:42

First off, there's some fixed corners on the Digidestined deck. Unfortunately neither Mango's computer or my own seem to like catching those until we see them online with colored backgrounds, and I forgot that this round since it's only the second time and I've been fairly busy. Mods are human too. So with that, here are the corrected cards:

They've already been fixed on the wiki and will be fixed in the randomizer as soon as Reki gets a chance to do so.

Secondly, I've been fielding a lot of questions regarding prize claims lately and honestly am getting a little tired of repeating myself, so here it is for everyone to see.

Just because the 'confirmations sent' line is down does not mean prizes will be handed out immediately. There is a process to how this works.

1. We send confirmations to the affiliated community and put down the 'confirmations sent' line.
2. A mod from the affilialted community has to comment back to tell us if everything checks out.
3. After we've received confirmation, then we can hand out your prizes.

Prizes may be delayed if:

1. We have not yet heard back from the mod at the affiliated community.
2. We're busy and can't get to it right at that moment. We're people with lives too, and it takes a lot of time to keep things going here.

With all that said, please keep this in mind and be patient when it comes to getting your prizes. Please do NOT delete and re-post claims (unless you're changing a choice card for a claim; which we'd ask that you please do sparingly to save our poor inboxes).

Please also do not ask if your claim has been missed when none of the prizes for submissions or voting have been handed out for that week. We can hand out claims for placements, and sometimes do, because we can see placements ourselves and don't have to wait on other mods. That does not mean that your prize was missed though.

If you're convinced that it was missed (as in you can see all other voting and submission claims have been handed out except yours), the correct procedure is to contact us on the Contact A Mod entry. Please use this instead of re-posting claims or asking us on the claim threads.

If you have any more questions about this, feel free to comment here. I tried to cover everything I've heard and seen lately. ^^;;

Finally, I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Now I'm off for some turkey with my family. XD
