Hope everyone had a fun weekend.
BBQ @ Chris' house was ridiculous. Ridiculous b/c the food was A+++ (Chris used to be a chef at a restaurant). Got stuffed off of a juicy steak literally the size of a small cow, shishkabob, and fruit w/ chocolate fondue, which I finished the second serving, a huge bowl, all by myself! No one wanted it alright? You can't let food go to waste! Man I'm so glutton sometimes. Haha. Sunday went to the
Santa Monica Farmer's Market, ate crepes and a Cajun hotdog w/ sauerkraut (I know, weird combo) and talked up some real estate with some friend's friends we ran into. And I was reminded AGAIN, why I shouldn't be leaving my job at this point in time. The market is ridiculously HOT and I've already been tossed offers. But alas, have to put my health first right? (Not that any of that food this past weekend helped my arteries at all, hehe)....
In both of the pictures I'm eating. 2 of many other pictures. Why does that not surprise me? Hehe...
Had to feed the dog. He kept nudging me with his nose....
Worked on papers for the rest of the weekend. Bummer! Finals week starts tommorow. Another Palm Springs getaway would've been perfect this weekend! =( Anyway, Sacramento this Thursday. Pretty excited to be going up to Norcal again (although I'm not really sure why - there's not really anything to get excited about). I'd like to see the city again, and visit Pier 39 for some seafood! The oyster sampler (platter of different oysters from all over the world) at
Zuni Cafe in downtown Frisco sounds so good right now! Can't wait...
East West Ice Palace has opened up in Artesia! Sucks I couldn't be there for the grand opening on May 16- Michelle Kwan did a show that day. Damn I wish I lived closer to my cousin who lives in Cerritos. I guess now I have an excuse to go see her more often, hehe. They even have a fitness center upstairs. My rink never had a fitness center! >=/ That would've been so much better.
Time to get serious. I'm so un-motivated to work out these days, I'm never going to be able to get myself in shape in time so I've hired a personal trainer and called up my former skating coach. I've decided on skating at the rink 2x a week for an hour and training 2x a week for an hour. I'm not sure if that'll be too much for me b/c I'm not in great shape. But I guess I'll feel it afterwards...
