(no subject)
So I've finally gotten the house to myself for an extended period of time again... I might actually skip FurFright just to have this moment again.
In any case.. it's allowed me to lose myself in my own head, which is something I've been unable to do for quite some time. I miss it... it allows me to analyze myself and go back to the times that I might have pop into my head at any one time. I find it refreshing.. it's my emotional recharge. I've been craving this for a long while now.
So here I am... probably deafening myself with my music.. but I don't mind. This is what I do... I blast everything out of my mind and work over what's left. Skim the trash, polish the uncut gems beneath.
It's my emotion at its rawest, its most basic... I love when I can let this side of me out -- especially now when I have a job where I have to keep it all in.
The passion of the Libra rips out... and I just... love the way it engulfs me, I'm a completely different person, I think.

And what song comes on, but Iris ... how appropriate. See, I love things like that.
As far as literature, I'm refreshing my memory in preparation for Deathly Hallows. Although I'll be away on vacation to New Jersey when it comes out... I'll be sure to nab it at some point.
Keeping with the Potter scheme, I've picked up a fantastic fic of it.. currently 68 chapters long and growing... I will warn you now.. yes it's fagtastic.. there's plenty of weaker HarryxDraco undertones and later on... full on sex. But... most of you who read my journal are either gay, or don't care. (Sorry Leesh, you're the only non-male. XD)
Memoirs of a Serpent's Son
Basically a re-write of the 6 books, and delving into the uncharted waters of the 7th... in the PoV of a one, Draco Malfoy.
It's spectacular. The characters are spot on, and the development later on is astounding. Please, PLEASE consider looking into it. It's amazing.
