My Pin Map

It's been a few years since I started work on my pin maps, but I'm ridiculously proud of them. The concept is this: everywhere I travel I try to buy at least one pin. That pin goes in my wall map, to mark where I've been and to serve as my sourveigner. They are not always easy to find so on a few occassions I've had to create my own pins from other small items I have purchased or recieved (like coins or small figures) and in some cases I use "place-holder pins" for areas I have previously visited but have not managed to get a pin from yet. I've collected other pins too, ones that haven't made it onto the map, but these are the ones that mean the most to me.

It will be a while before I can cover all 50 states, and I have another map, a world map, which has very few pins on it, but they still mean a lot to me.

I'll be going to Philadelphia later this week. I have pins for Pennsylvannia already, but I'll be going to the Philly Museum with friends and I like collecting museum pins just as much as I like collecting pins for my map. The last time I went to the Philly Museum I couldn't find any pins. Maybe I'll be lucky this time.
