Who: Mercedes Jones and Kurt Hummel

When Tuesday night.

Mercedes was extremely nervous. She had no idea why, she had gone on dates before. But, of course, she had never gone on a date with a person she had just met a few days ago, all while in the fifties. Hell, she had never spent time in the fifties before this week, so she still wasn't sure what was expected of her. And she had no idea what was expected of her on a date with a boy. A boy like Kurt.
She had willingly agreed to go out to dinner with Kurt, almost eagerly. She was glad to have a friend, someone who she could spend time with. Sure, there was Lauren, but.... she wasn't sure Lauren would be up for going on dates with her. She had arrived to the diner about five to ten minutes early, which was something that she did quite often. She prefered being early than being late. After parking the car (the car it took a lot of convincing to let her father allow her to use that night), she slipped out and headed toward the front of the restaurant.
She leaned lightly against the wall of the restarant, near the front door. Kurt had said he'd meet her at the front of the diner, so Mercedes had assumed he meant outside. She nervously played with a strand of her hair (hair that she had spent tons of time on, trying to make it look appropriate for the era) and she waited.
